festival of autumn (omatsuri)

It was rainy on the festival day but the children were carrying the omikoshi. The children like the festival because the adults treat them and they can buy many cheap toys or confectioneries.

"Do not undress or wear HANTEN of the other streets."
"Do not carry OMIKOSHI while getting drunk."
I guess they would do like that every year...

And there is written the women carries OMIKOSHI at 6:30PM.

after the festival: in the rain

It continued raining... The children wore the rain coats, and the adults put the OMIKOSHI back to the warehouse. The OMIKOSHI is the vehicle of the Japanese gods and the gods use it during they carry OMIKOSHI on their shoulders.

On the way back to my appartment, I found a cat on a silent street. The town is very crowded because of the festival, but it was a side street so there was no one.
